An overnight E-fatbike experience in the incredibly beautiful paradise of the Pöyrisjärvi wilderness

Pedal through the true wilderness, an incredible wilderness paradise. You won't find a place like this anywhere else in Finland.

Admire the silence of the wilderness and breathe the cleanest air in the world. Experience unforgettable experiences on the sand dunes shaped by the ice age, and in the embrace of small wilderness ponds. The treeless tundra enables a view several tens of kilometers away, and the seemingly infinite space gives the opportunity to let go of everyday responsibilities and just enjoy the beauty of the wilderness. The adventure begins in a small Reindeer Sami village of 40 inhabitants, Näkkälä. We visit the old place of worship of the Sámi people, seita. We pedal along the country tracks used by reindeer herders and other locals to the shore of the beautiful and clear Pöyrisjärvi lake (approx. 15 km).

We will spend the night in an atmospheric, possibly shared accommodation, which is located on the shore of the beautiful and blue sparkling Pöyrisjärvi. Private accommodation can be booked in advance for an additional fee. In the evening, we swim, fish, explore the wonders of the surrounding area and enjoy nutritious food by the evening campfire before hitting the pillow at the end of a day full of experiences.

In the morning we eat a nutritious breakfast in peace. We pack our things and head back to our starting point. On the way back, we visit the nature center of Fell Lapland, where we enjoy lunch and get to know the exhibition about Sámi culture and the nature of the fells. The total length of the trip is 30-40 km. Driving time from Levi to Näkkälä is 2h30min.

The trip is carried out for at least two participants and can accommodate the first 8 people who register.
